X’int tħawwad?

21 March 2023 | Kummisjoni Djocesana Żgħażagħ Għawdex

During Lent, we are encouraged to reflect on our lives and to focus on our relationship with God. Lenten Exercises are a series of talks designed to help individuals deepen their spiritual lives and connect with God.

X’INT TĦAWWAD? is this year’s theme of the spiritual exercises organized by KDŻG. The theme is based on the story of Martha and Mary, and Jesus’ unexpected reply – few things are needed—or indeed only one (Luke 10:42).

KDŻG is once again organizing 2 sets of spiritual exercises designed specifically for Gozitan young people. To accomodate young people living, studying and working in Malta, the first set of spiritual exercises will take place at the University Chaplaincy, in Msida. They will be held during 3 consecutive Tuesdays – 7, 14 and 21st March at 8.00pm. Fr Brendan Mark Gatt will be leading us in this journey.

For young people in Gozo, Bishop Anton Teuma will be leading 3 evenings of spiritual exercises at the Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Victoria Gozo. They will be held between Wednesday 1st March and Friday 3rd March 2023 at 8.00pm.

To all Gozitan young people, these spiritual exercises are specifically designed for YOU. We invite you to join us for a transformative and enriching experience during Lent. We can’t wait to see you there!
