Via Crucis on Għammar Hill
Lent is a time of reflection and sacrifice, and what better way to deepen your spiritual journey than by joining us for a Via Crucis. For the second year running, KDŻG is organizing a journey of the way of the cross on Għammar Hill, on Sunday 5th March 2023. This powerful tradition, which re-enacts the final hours of Jesus’ life, will give you the opportunity to meditate on his sacrifice and the true meaning of Easter. We invite all young people 18+ to come and walk with us on this journey of faith. It will be a time of inspiration, contemplation and growth through meditations and moments of prayer. There will also be the opportunity receive God’s forgiveness and grace through confessions, followed by an intimate moment of Adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament.

Echoes of World Youth Day Lisbon
There was in total a group of 30 Gozitans, for the World Youth Day (WYD) in Portugal. The group was composed of pilgrims coming from different backgrounds, between the ages of 15 and 59 years. Some pilgrims were part of a youth group, others joined by themselves. Uniting and guiding the group there was the spiritual leader H.E. Mons. Anton Teuma who apart from delivering a catechesis to the Gozitan and Maltese in Portugal, humbly, throughout the week sustained the pilgrims with his words.
