Navis | Time for a refill

We are pleased to invite all youth leaders, animators, and everyone who dedicates their time to guiding and inspiring the next generation to our upcoming Navis seminar – Time to Refill. This seminar emphasizes the importance of refilling oneself – staying updated, inspired, and energized – so that we can continue to give back effectively to the youth. After all, we can’t pour from an empty cup!
Part 1: Scriptural and Theological Insights
The seminar will begin with a session led by Fr. Krystof Buttigieg, who will provide valuable insights on the topic by referring to Scripture and the teachings of the Church Fathers. This session will ground our understanding in a solid spiritual foundation, emphasizing the importance of ongoing personal and professional growth.
Part 2: Practical Guidance
Following this, Gozo Bishop Anton Teuma will take the floor to discuss practical approaches to maintaining continuous formation as youth leaders. His session will offer actionable advice and strategies to ensure that we remain equipped and motivated in our roles.
Workshop: Exploring New Tools
In addition to these enlightening talks, we will host a workshop focused on exploring new tools and resources that can aid in your continuous development. This interactive session will provide hands-on experience and innovative ideas to enhance your work with youth.
Fellowship and Food
The seminar will conclude with a moment of fellowship, where you can connect with fellow youth leaders while enjoying some food. This is a great opportunity to share experiences, exchange ideas, and build stronger relationships within our community.

Echoes of World Youth Day Lisbon
There was in total a group of 30 Gozitans, for the World Youth Day (WYD) in Portugal. The group was composed of pilgrims coming from different backgrounds, between the ages of 15 and 59 years. Some pilgrims were part of a youth group, others joined by themselves. Uniting and guiding the group there was the spiritual leader H.E. Mons. Anton Teuma who apart from delivering a catechesis to the Gozitan and Maltese in Portugal, humbly, throughout the week sustained the pilgrims with his words.
