“Mhux Xorta?!”
Join us for an enlightening series of spiritual exercises tailored for the youth of Gozo. From February 21 to 23, 2024, we present “Mhux Xorta?!”—an exploration into the theme of the justification of sin. This theme delves into the normalization of behaviours over time, leading us to justify actions that were once deemed wrong. We question why certain actions, viewed as good or passable by society, are considered ‘wrong’ by the Church.
Last year, KDŻG’s spiritual exercises were centred around deepening our relationship with God. This year, “Mhux Xorta?!” invites you to go a step further, and contemplate the justification of sin, seeking understanding and reflection.
Bishop Anton Teuma, will lead these talks, providing insights and teachings that will surely illuminate our understanding of the theme, fostering a deeper connection with our spirituality. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore, reflect, and grow together in faith.

Echoes of World Youth Day Lisbon
There was in total a group of 30 Gozitans, for the World Youth Day (WYD) in Portugal. The group was composed of pilgrims coming from different backgrounds, between the ages of 15 and 59 years. Some pilgrims were part of a youth group, others joined by themselves. Uniting and guiding the group there was the spiritual leader H.E. Mons. Anton Teuma who apart from delivering a catechesis to the Gozitan and Maltese in Portugal, humbly, throughout the week sustained the pilgrims with his words.
